EASY PIECES
8PM
Easy Pieces is a rock band featuring a cast of well-respected and disrespected Toronto musicians whose east coast roots brought them together to disagree about all kinds of music. Their 2025 full-length album Long Shadows charts a journey of discoveries pulled from parents’ record collections to obscure gems unearthed in neighbourhood record stores,. It’s music born from years spent chasing songs, swapping rock-and-roll lore, and building a community in Toronto’s downtown venues that sustain independent music.
WINEMOM

Dublin natives, fresh out of BIMM University, led by the exceptional voice of songwriter and frontwoman Rosanna Harrington, WineMom spent their breakthrough year performing on some of the biggest stages across Ireland and the UK, supporting the likes of Janes Addiction and including a wonderful tour across Ireland with KingFishr, performing onstage with them at their Wexford show.

What is Lughnasadh?
Lughnasadh (LOO-nahs-ah) is an ancient Celtic festival celebrated on August 1st, or between the summer solstice and autumn equinox, marking the arrival of the harvest season. One of the four major Gaelic seasonal festivals — alongside Imbolc, Bealtaine, and Samhain — Lughnasadh is named after the Irish sun god Lugh, a warrior, king and skilled craftsman.
Mythology suggests that the Festival began when Lugh held a Funeral Feast in honour of his foster-mother Tailtiu, an earth goddess who passed away after clearing Ireland’s fields for agriculture. In the middle ages, Lughnasadh was a time for community gatherings, with athletic contests (the Tailteann Games), feasting, music, dancing, horse racing and matchmaking. In recent centuries and in certain areas, it is a tradition to climb hills at sunrise on Lughnasadh and to host celebrations on hilltops.
Today, Lughnasadh is celebrated as a cultural event, featuring Irish music, dance and crafts. It is a time to celebrate community, gratitude, abundance, and the transition between summer and autumn.
This event has been financially assisted by the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund – a program of the Government of Ontario through the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming, administered by the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund Corporation
